Elections 2017

This May sees Lincolnshire head to the ballot box to elect their new County Councillors for the next 4 years. This is also the first round of elections which sees the council reduced to 70 seats from 77, and fought on new division boundaries.

Lincolnshire County Council is currently led by the Conservatives, however they do not have a majority.

The Liberal Democrats have 4 seats going into the elections. Two of them in our part of the county; Hykeham Forum, and Skellingthorpe and Hykeham South which is being renamed Eagle and Hykeham West as part of the new boundary changes.

You can find a full list of all the candidates who are standing in the Lincoln, Sleaford and North Hykeham local area by clicking here.
