I am extremely interested in getting your views about North Hykeham so I can represent you effectively, please leave your comments and suggestions in the form at the bottom of this page.
I am standing in this election to ensure that residents in Mill Ward get their voices heard in the council chamber at North Kesteven. This area needs a voice that is strong, will listen to residents and be willing to stand up for this area when times are tough.
I have always been a liberal by nature. I am passionate about fair play and equality for all. I joined the Liberals in my twenties, but then my career and family life took over and my involvement in politics faded. I moved to North Kesteven in 1997 due to family reasons with my three young children and had to leave my husband back in Eseex due to his work commitments at the time. My husband then moved our business up to Lincolnshire in 2000, and we have recently celebrated the twentieth anniversary of the company this year. Now my family has grown up (my youngest just completing his A Levels this summer), I rejoined the Liberal Democrats in May, just after the General Election. I realised that my values were still at the core of the party: putting community and local residents first, and standing up for those who do not have a voice.
It would be an honour to represent the people of Mill Ward and continue the work done by hard working Liberal Democrats in North Hykeham for many years if I was to be elected.
I hope you are able to put your trust in me this Thursday,
