Ross Pepper, our Parliamentary candidate visited the Dementia Roadshow yesterday to talk about the important work done by the Alzheimer's Society for those suffering from dementia in the city.
Ross spoke to healthcare workers from the charity and discussed what the needs for the future are for dementia care.
Ross said after the visit, "With more people suffering from dementia in our area, more needs to be done to provide adequate care provision for those patients. We also need to put more money into researching the condition.
As someone whose family has been affected by dementia, I give my full backing to the Alzheimer's Society Manifesto for 2015."
